Overall, the resort has a pleasant ambiance with great attractions, but some aspects could use improvement. The island tour was a highlight, allowing us to explore local culture. However, the construction noise was disruptive, and the need for cash for taxis wasn't well communicated. While the villa was spacious and clean, it did come with some maintenance issues. We enjoyed our stay but hope for a more seamless experience next time.

Rooms
7.0
The villa was spacious and well-equipped, although we experienced some noisy air conditioning and limited views.
Service
6.0
The concierge service was helpful, especially with providing discounts, but we found the housekeeping could be more attentive.
Location
6.0
The resort is on a scenic hill, but the walk to town is not safe due to limited sidewalks, making taxis necessary.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were decent, but we wished for more variety and better service, especially during peak times.
Facilities
5.0
The small pools in the villa are nice for relaxing but not ideal for swimming; construction noise detracted from the experience.

This resort in St. John offers stunning views and is perfect for families, though I did encounter a few issues. The cleanliness and room size are impressive, but my experience was marred by some service and dining disappointments. Despite these drawbacks, the overall beauty of the property and the island makes it worth considering for a vacation.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, though they felt somewhat dated in certain areas. We had a lovely balcony where I could work on my laptop.
Service
5.0
While some staff members were friendly, I had an unfortunate experience with a few who were quite rude and unhelpful during my stay.
Location
9.0
The resort is located in a beautiful area with easy access to local beaches and markets, making it very convenient for families.
Dining
6.0
Dining was a mixed bag; while the food offered was healthy and tasty, the service was often lackluster and the prices were quite high.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities include a large pool and hot tub, which are great for families, but the experience was less enjoyable due to the loud kids.

This resort is truly a gem on St. John, with beautiful surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere. The accommodations are quite nice, though some aspects, like service and dining options, could use improvement. The location is unbeatable, right by the stunning beach, but the price might feel a bit high given some service issues. Overall, it's a great choice for a laid-back getaway, provided you manage your expectations when it comes to certain amenities.

Rooms

The villa we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, featuring a king-size bed. However, the sound quality in the room was poor, and it lacked a patio or balcony, which was disappointing.
Service
6.0
While some staff were attentive and helpful, we experienced instances of rudeness from the reception and inconsistencies with service levels throughout our stay. This detracted from the overall experience.
Location
9.0
The resort is perfectly situated right on a gorgeous beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sea. It's also close to a small grocery store, which is convenient for stocking up on essentials.
Dining
6.0
The dining options felt limited, especially with the steakhouse closed for renovations, and the breakfast could use a wider selection. Despite this, the food we ordered was enjoyable.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities were decent, including a very nice pool area that provided a lovely spot to relax. However, ongoing construction detracted from the experience, disrupting the peaceful environment.

Our stay at the Westin was enjoyable overall, with beautiful grounds and a fantastic pool. The rooms were spacious and clean, offering lovely views. However, the dining options were on the expensive side and the service could be hit or miss at times. The location provided easy access to amazing nearby beaches, making it worth exploring the island further.

Rooms

The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, featuring a balcony with a stunning view.
Service
7.0
Service was friendly but had some inefficiencies, especially during peak times.

7.4/10

My stay at the Westin St. John was largely enjoyable with beautiful scenery, impressive amenities, and a great breakfast that truly impressed. However, having initially booked a 'Full Ocean View Room' only to find a obstructed view was a major disappointment, and I had a few billing issues that took some time to resolve. Overall, a lovely getaway but not without its hiccups.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious and clean, although ours was somewhat dated and had a obstructed view from the balcony due to a large tree. Still, we found it comfortable.
Service
8.0
Most staff members were friendly and helpful, especially when we encountered issues with our room and billing. However, the responsiveness seemed to vary.
Location
6.0
Set on a quiet area of the beach, the Westin provides a nice retreat, but the seaweed along the beachfront detracts from its beauty. It’s also slightly inconvenient to get to restaurants in Cruz Bay without a taxi.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was fantastic, with generous portions and a varied menu, but other dining options at the resort fell flat in terms of variety and value.
Facilities
9.0
The resort offered a beautiful pool and well-maintained grounds that really enhanced our experience. The availability of water sports was a big plus.
